FAIR@Link helps with the entire consolidation process, from receiving goods at the freight forwarder's gateway to delivering shipments to the cargo handling agent. While scanning the shipment at receiving, a check of target vs. actual goods data can be made by comparing the scanned actual data with the target data from the House AWB. Damage is documented with photos, stored in FAIR@Link and, if applicable, sent to the eFile of the forwarder. If the BUP manifests, i.e. the construction plans for the MAWB, are available electronically, the gateway can confirm the finalization of the shipments to the forwarder - supplemented by photos.
eConsolidation
How am I supported in the consolidation process?
If the data from the House AWBs (HAWB), the summary declaration (SumA), and the check manifest match up correctly, FAIR@Link can automate deconsolidation. In case of discrepancies, or if the check manifest is only available in paper form, the forwarder or their handling agent can also manually initiate the automated deconsolidation with FAIR@Link. Subsequently, the custody certificate per HAWB is automatically sent by e-mail to the authorized parties - e.g., the responsible location. This results in considerable time savings in customs clearance and shorter processing times.
